Welcome to the website of All Saints Episcopal Church, Challoch, near Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire – part of glorious Galloway. The following pages give a flavour of how we go about our declared purpose of looking Godward, Outward and Forward.
The Scottish Episcopal Church is part of the world-wide Anglican Communion, which includes the Episcopal Churches of Commonwealth countries, the American Episcopal Church, and the Churches of England, Ireland and Wales. Through the Porvoo Agreement, we are also in communion with the Scandinavian Lutheran Churches.
We are an inclusive, affirming community where all are welcome. You are invited to share in all our services and in the Holy Eucharist. All baptised people are welcome to receive Holy Communion with us. If browsing these pages encourages you to visit us, we shall be delighted to meet you.
Our Grade One listed Victorian church has ramp access and an amplification system with a loop for the hard of hearing. Large print and Braille liturgies are available. The toilet block is accessible for the disabled. Sadly, due to Covid restrictions, we have had to curtail our usual after-service get-together.
