A Massive Thank You to everyone who helped with our “Doors Open’ Day.
Thursday 17th September: we are holding a Pilgrimage to St Ninian’s Cave. Anyone who would like to do the walk to the cave, we will meet at the car park at the head of Physgill near the farm at 11.00 am. Let Stuart know if you would plan to come.
19th September 10-2.30 pm “Greening our Churches” A Workshop organised by the Diocesan Environment Group at St Oswald’s Maybole. We will be looking at Church Gardens, and biodiversity. Church eco-groups will be sharing. Stuart will be going so if anyone wants a lift let him know. We will of course be meeting in the Season of Creation.
Next Fellowship Meeting Thursday 24th September in church at 2.00 pm: a talk by Donna Brewster on St Ninian.
Saturday 2 – 4.00 pm: the church is open for visitors.
Ninian Moments. A reminder that these short acts of Reflection and Prayer take place each week. Monday 12 noon Sacred Heart Church Wigtown, Tuesdays 12 noon St Martin and St Ninian Church Whithorn.
Machars Churches Basics Food Bank: Food Bank donations – we continue to support the Food Bank through the year. All donations welcome please leave in the box in the porch.
Recycling Printer ink cartridges – there is now a box in the porch for used cartridges.
