Friday 6th November 11.00 am:There is a Service of Remembrance at Bargrennan Old Churchyard and at 6.30 pm there is a Taize style worship at Sacred Heart RC Church, Wigtown.
Next Sunday – Remembrance Sunday: 10.30 am A Sung Eucharist and Act of Remembrance. The civic Act of Remembrance will be at the war memorial at Dashwood Square, Newton Stewart is at 12 noon.

Further News:
Greening our churchyard… Many thanks to all those who came to walk the churchyard last Thursday. We are beginning to shape a plan for future planting and the encouragement of greater bio-diversity. Soon a date will be fixed for a further weeding party and a general tidy up. Did we not promise you prayer and parties at the AGM!
AGM – Vestry members. At the AGM last Sunday, Gerry Ewan was elected as Lay Rep, Rosemary Green as Alternate Lay Rep. Philip Colvile, Lynne Wright, Mary Sutton, Alex Hornby, Julian Demetriadi, Angela Aston as Vestry members too and Kirsty Anderson as Lay Reader. Mike Clayton did not stand for health reasons but we record our thanks for his work on the vestry over a number of years and as Treasurer and Secretary. Please note the date set for the next vestry meeting will need to be re-arranged.
Machars Churches Basics Food Bank: News from the Machars Churches Food Bank: The Food Bank is currently providing complete food parcels to 30 households including 46 adults and 24 children. In 2026 there has been 45 new referrals and 916 food parcels have been provided, and there have been 1235 visitors to the shop and community larder. Many thanks for everyone’s support at All Saints – let’s keep it up week by week. Remember what we can supply doesn’t have to be bought!
Recycling Printer ink cartridges – there is a box in the porch for used cartridges.
