Tuesday – Coffee Morning Glentrool Hive 10 – 12 noon. All Welcome.
5th September. Once again we are taking part in “Doors Open”, which is an event across Scotland. The church will be open from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm for visitors and we will will be welcoming Louisa Ruthven a local artist and local spinners and weavers. Our theme will be “Heritage Works. Creativity, Community, Celebration.” We will be looking for volunteers to staff during the day and we will end with a service of Sung Evensong around 4.00 pm. See lists for Volunteers etc.
Our next Monthly Bible Study “A Journey through Mark” will be on Wednesday 26th August at 2.00 pm
Sunday 6th September 3.00 pm Annual Ecumenical Service Cruggleton Church – all welcome.
Working Groups Please see the sign up sheets to be part of a working group towards our future development at All Saints. Group 1 Spiritual development and growth – tending the spiritual heartbeat of All Saints. Group 2 Making us known – where we are, who we are and what we do. Group 3 Presence in our Communities – local discipleship and service.
19th September 10-2.30 pm “Greening our Churches” A Workshop organised by the Diocesan Environment Group at St Oswald’s Maybole. We will be looking at Church Gardens, and biodiversity. Church eco-groups will be sharing. Stuart will be going so if anyone wants a lift let him know. We will of course be meeting in the Season of Creation.
Ninian Moments. A reminder that these short acts of Reflection and Prayer take place each week. Monday 12 noon Sacred Heart Church Wigtown, Tuesdays 12 noon St Martin and St Ninian Church Whithorn.
Machars Churches Basics Food Bank: Food Bank donations – we continue to support the Food Bank through the year. All donations welcome please leave in the box in the porch.
Recycling Printer ink cartridges – there is now a box in the porch for used cartridges.
